dr. peter freisinger, music director

Peter Freisinger worked for six years in German opera houses, and has conducted orchestras in Vladivostok and along the Volga River in Russia. At the Glinka Conservatory in Nizhny Novgorod, he gave a lecture on American musical life and a master class in foreign language diction for singers.

Freisinger received a Bachelor of music degree in Piano from Indiana University at Bloomington and studied Orchestral Conducting at the University of Cincinnati where he received his Masters and Doctoral degrees. In the summer of 2008, Peterfounded the Freisinger Chamber Orchestra, which has premiered works by many composers, and features numerous instrumental and vocal soloists. Peter improvises for The Boston Conservatory Dance Division.
