Meet Our Pastor, the Reverend Debora Jackson

Pastor Debora Jackson has been serving as the Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Needham since 2004. She is a dynamic preacher and teacher, known for stirring congregations with her passionate sermons. Pastor Debora actively lives out her faith and is committed to helping others do the same. She wants people to be bold in their faith and excited about serving God in life-giving ways. She wants churches to be vibrant, strong and revitalized so much so that others want to get on board and get involved.

A highly-sought consultant, former CIO and COO and a published author, Pastor Debora is a candidate for her Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership at Andover Newton Theological School. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological School, and a Master of Engineering degree in Manufacturing Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University.

Pastor Debora is married to James E. Thomas, Sr. Their son Jadon is eight years old.
