David recites the words of Psalm 18 in 2 Samuel 22:21-25 at the end of year reign and near the end of his life. And even after the mistakes of his past, he attributes himself as being righteous. What makes us righteous before God, even in the midst of our mistakes and guilt? What makes us righteous is that we never turn from God in our heart, that though we fall, we get back up in repentance.
